Field Hockey

PLAYER OF THE WEEK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Jillian Brown, WNEC (Sr. G - Plymouth, NH)
Brown made a season high 19 saves in a 1-0 win at defending NAC Tournament champion Maine-Farmington and three stops in a 3-0 victory at Thomas as the Golden Bears repeated as conference regular season champions with a perfect 9-0 record.

Erin Nason, Husson (Fy. M - Unity, ME)
Nason had two goals and an assist in a 3-0 week for Husson. The first year midfielder scored goals in victories over Wheelock and Lasell and recorded an assist in a 3-0 win over University of New England.

Men's Soccer

PLAYER OF THE WEEK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Andrew Lane, Johnson St. (Fr. G - Williston, VT)
Lane made 22 saves over 277 minutes leading Johnson State to a 2-1 week in conference play. The freshman goalkeeper posted two shutouts making six saves as the Badgers defeated Elms 1-0 and saved 10 shots in a 3-0 defeat of Mount Ida.

Svetlin Ignatov, Mount Ida (Fr. F - Taunton, MA)
Ignatov tallied two goals in four matches played this week. He found the net once in the Mustangs 2-2 tie with Husson on Monday, and he delivered the match-winning goal in Mount Ida's key comeback conference victory over Castleton State on Saturday.

Women's Soccer

PLAYER OF THE WEEK Co-ROOKIES OF THE WEEK

Chelsea Rose, Elms (Jr. F - Belchertown, MA)
Rose registered five goals and one assist to help lead the Blazers to a 2-0-1 mark in conference play last week. She netted two goals and an assist in a 6-0 defeat of Lesley, scored the game-tying goal in Saturday's 1-1 tie with Maine-Farmington and scored both goals in a 2-0 victory over Thomas.

Elise McLear, Mount Ida (Fr. M - Swansea, MA)
Freshman Elise McLear delivered the lone goal in the Mustangs 1-0 upset victory over Maine Maritime Academy on Wednesday.

Katelyn Hobart, Mount Ida (Fr. F - Berwick, ME)
Hobart netted the match-winning goal in the Mustangs 2-1 double overtime victory over Johnson State on Sunday.

Volleyball

PLAYER OF THE WEEK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Anne Woodsum, Husson (Sr. OH - Addison, ME)
Woodsum recorded a triple double in the Eagles 3-1 win over UMF posting 19 kills, 10 service aces, and 18 digs. For the week, the senior outside hitter averaged 3.7 kills, 3.7 digs with 24 service aces and 3.5 blocks in a 3-0 week for the Eagles which included two conference victories.

Stephanie Saito, Mount Ida (Fr. S - West Linn, OR)
Saito piled up 12 service aces and 2.90 assists per game in a 2-1 week for Mount Ida. She opened her week with a ten assist performance in a 3-0 loss at Newbury on Wednesday. Saito tallied six assists and three aces in the Mustangs 3-0 victory over Bay Path College on Saturday. She wrapped up the week with 13 assists and nine aces in a 3-1 win over Lesley University on Saturday.

Women's Tennis

PLAYER OF THE WEEK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Laurie Albright, Castleton St. (Sr.)
Albright finished second in the #1 singles flight and teamed with Emily O'Connor to win the #2 doubles flight at the NAC Championship this weekend leading Castleton State to their second consecutive NAC title.

Emily Picard, Johnson St. (Fr. - Nashua, NH)
Picard won the #6 singles flight at the NAC Championship and helped Johnson State to a 3rd place team finish. Picard finished the season with a 10-2 record overall for the season.
