Maxwell Perez, Lasell (Jr. G - Holyoke, Mass.)
Perez led the Lasers in scoring with 21 points on Saturday and 23 points on Sunday as the Lasers began the season 2-0, defeating Roger Williams and host Brandeis to win the Brandeis Tip-Off tournament.  Perez was named tournament MVP.

Anthony Drayton, Lesley (Fr. G - Roxbury, Mass.)
Drayton led all scorers with 23 points, shooting 10-18 from the field including 2-4 from the 3-point line in Lesley's first ever men's basketball game, helping to lead the Lynx to a 82-63 victory. The freshman guard added three rebounds, three steals and four assists.

Alyssa Burns, Maine Maritime (Jr. F - Dixfield, Maine)
Burns averaged 26 points per game as Maine Maritime started the season 2-0 at the MIT Tip-Off Classic tournament. The junior forward also averaged 8 rebounds per game and 2.5 steals per game while shooting 58% from the floor (19-33) on her way to capturing tournament MVP honors.

Toby Martin, Thomas (Fr. G - Wayne, Maine)
Martin averaged 24 points per game including a 29 point outburst in the championship game, leading the Terriers to the Dead River Terrier tip-off Title.
