Men's Basketball

PLAYER OF THE WEEK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Matt St. John, Me.-Farmington (So. G - Wayne, Maine)
St. John scored a season-high 17 points, hitting 6-of-10 from the floor and 5-of-8 from 3-point range, in a 54-52 win over St. Joe's on Nov. 22 that enabled UMF to stay perfect at 3-0. St. John scored 11 of his points in the second half, scoring eight of those in a 3:37 span that allowed UMF to maintain its lead.

Anthony Drayton, Lesley (Fr. G - Roxbury, Mass.)
Drayton averaged 18.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 6.7 assists a game in a 1-2 week for the Lynx. The freshman guard led the way against Colby with a school record 31 points in a heartbreaking 93-90 loss.

Women's Basketball

PLAYER OF THE WEEK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Beth Pion, Becker (Fr. F - Enfield, Conn.)
Pion led the Lady Hawks with a double-double, scoring 20 points and grabbing 15 rebounds in their first win of the season last week against Fisher College. Pion also led the team with four steals, four blocks and two assists.
