Baseball

PLAYER OF THE WEEK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Dustin Spiller, St. Joseph?s (ME) (So. CF ? Gorham, Maine)
In a 5-4 spring trip, Spiller started all nine games, had 14 hits in 29 at bats for a .483 average. The sophomore had seven RBI with seven runs scored, four doubles, 18 total bases and a .621 slugging percentage.

Wade Oliver, St. Joseph?s (ME) (Fr. RF ? Owls Head, Maine)
Oliver played and started six games, had eight hits in 19 appearances for a .421 average with five RBI including a home run and five runs scored.

Softball

PLAYER OF THE WEEK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Amanda Corey, Lasell (So. P - Brooklyn, Conn.)
Corey pitched a shut-out against St Joseph?s of NY followed by seven more scoreless innings against Trinity College until the 8th inning when she let up three earned runs.  The sophomore currently has a 2.08 ERA.

Sarah Wilson, Lesley (Fr. 3B/C ? Lowell, Mass.)
Wilson got off to a hot start in Florida last week hitting .385 for the week, with a .429 OBP and an impressive .577 slugging percentage.  Wilson accumulated 6 RBI's on her 10 hits including a triple and a homerun.  She also got it done in the field with a .952 fielding percentage.

Men's Lacrosse

PLAYER OF THE WEEK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Johnathan Lightbown, Mount Ida (So. A ? Melrose, Mass.)
Lightbown totaled eight points on five goals and three helpers in a 1-1 week for Mount Ida. He tallied a pair of markers at #17 Bates in the Mustangs season opener on Wednesday. Lightbown then led Mount Ida to a 10-7 victory over the Mass.-Dartmouth with his hat trick and three assists on Saturday.
Brett Conley, Mount Ida (Fr. A ? Fairfield, Conn.)
Conley scored a pair of goals and added one assists in a 1-1 week for Mount Ida. He tallied all three points in a 10-7 victory over Mass.-Dartmouth on Saturday. Both of Conley's goals were scored during a 7-0 run in the second half, which turned a 5-3 deficit into a 10-5 Mount Ida advantage.

Men's Tennis

PLAYER OF THE WEEK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Jesee Maranda, Castleton State (Fr. Waitsfield, Vt.)
In a 2-0 week for the Spartans Maranda was undefeated, winning a pair of singles matches 6-2, 6-2 against Thomas and Green Mountain, and also a pair of doubles matches playing in the number 3 position.
Robbie Gray, Castleton State (Fr. Red Bank, N.J.)
Playing in the number 2 position, Gray helped Castleton to a 2-0 record this week. Gray won both of his singles matches and went 1-1 in doubles.
