Baseball

PLAYER OF THE WEEK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Sean Brawn, Husson (Sr. 1B/DH - Augusta, Maine)
The Eagles split with Johnson and Wales in a double header on Sunday. Brawn went 5-8 (.625) with 1 double and 1 home run. He had 4 RBIs and scored 4 runs.

Wade Oliver, St. Joseph's (ME) - (Fr. OF - Owls Head, Maine)
In a three game series with Endicott, Oliver went 4-for-9 at the plate with 3 runs, 1 RBI, 1 double, 2 triples, 2 BB, 1 SB. The freshman pushed in the game winning run with a double in the third inning of St. Joe's 3-0 win over Endicott. In the 9-5 loss in game two, he hit a triple and scored as St. Joe's jumped out to an early lead and had another triple in the second inning and then scored in the 7th after reaching on a HBP. In the final game, an 8-2 win, Oliver walked, stole second and scored.

Softball

PLAYER OF THE WEEK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Mary Berry, Maine-Farmington (Sr. OF/DH  - Norridewock, Maine)
Berry hit .889 (8-for-9) in a 4-0 week for the Beavers, scoring seven of the team's 45 runs while knocking in a pair. The senior was 5-for-6 with four runs scored in a doubleheader sweep of Mt. Ida on Friday and then went 3-for-3 with three runs, a pair of walks, doubles and RBI in a sweep of Bay Path on Saturday. She slugged 1.011% for the week and posted a .909 on-base percentage

Katlyn Billian, Lasell (Fr. Inf - East Meadow, NY)
Billian hit .400 last week along with a double, a triple and a game winning grand slam against St Lawrence (NY) for a total of five RBI and currently leads the team in slugging percentage at .609.

Men's Lacrosse

PLAYER OF THE WEEK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Matt VanDerkar, Castleton State (Jr. M - Manchester, Vt.)
In Castleton's only game of the week, VanDerKar was dominant. The junior midfielder scored six goals on nine shots and added two assists. He was also credited with four ground balls and was 12-17 on the face-off.
Brett Conley, Mount Ida (Fr. A - Fairfield, Conn.)
Conley totaled 12 points on eight goals and four assists, as he led Mount Ida to a perfect 3-0 mark last week. He netted game-winners in games at Mitchell College on Tuesday and at Curry College on Thursday. The attackman finished with a hat trick and two helpers in the Mustangs 17-0 shutout of Mitchell before tallying a pair of markers and one assist in a 7-5 win over Curry. Conley finished the week with a hat trick and one assist in Mount Ida's home-opening 11-3 triumph over Daniel Webster on Saturday.

Men's Tennis

PLAYER OF THE WEEK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Trevor Kelson, Johnson State (Sr. Bridgewater, Mass.)
Kelson, playing in the #1 slot, won both of his singles matches as well as both doubles matches in Johnson State's first two contests of the season and helping the Badgers to a 1-1 team record.
Robbie Gray, Castleton State (Fr. Red Bank, N.J.)
In a 2-0 week for the Spartans Robbie Gray was a picture of consistency. Gray went 2-0 in #2 singles matches and was 1-1 in doubles, helping Castleton State to 6-3 wins over Norwich and Johnson State.
