Baseball

PLAYER OF THE WEEK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Ben Muniz, St. Joseph's (ME) (Sr. 1B, Readfield, Maine)
In three wins for St. Joseph's, Muniz was 7-10 at the plate, including three doubles, a triple and a home run, while scoring nine runs.
Chad Lavway, Husson (Fr. P)
Layway pitched five innings, allowed just one hit and no runs while striking out six batters earning a win for the Eagles.

Softball

PLAYER OF THE WEEK Co-ROOKIES OF THE WEEK

Jenn Gadouas, Castleton State (Jr. 3B, Alburg, Vt.)
Gadouas led the Spartans to a 6-2 week, including four conference victories, playing in 6 games and hitting .500 (8-16) including a triple and homerun. The junior third baseman scored 6 runs, drove in 6 more and stole 6 bases on the week. In 24 chances at the hot-corner, Gadouas had 15 assists and 7 put-outs.

Liz Bergeron, Maine-Farmington (Fr. P - Milford, Maine)
Bergeron appeared in three of four games for the Beavers, striking out 8 and picking up a pair of saves and a win in a 3-1 week. On Thursday at the University of New England, Bergeron saved both ends of a doubleheader, pitching 3.2 perfect innings of relief. On Saturday at Bates, Bergeron picked up the win in relief in game two.

Lani Cabral-Pini, Lesley (Fr. SS - Wilmington, Mass.)
Calbral-Pini, who is the sparkplug for the offense as leadoff did her job this week helping to lead the Lynx to a 2-1 record. The freshman had an on base percentage of .545 which led to her scoring 5 runs. She also drove in a run and had two stolen bases.

Men's Lacrosse

PLAYER OF THE WEEK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Johnathan Lightbown, Mount Ida (So. A - Melrose, Mass.)
Sophomore Jonathan Lightbown racked up 15 points on 12 goals and three assists to propel Mount Ida to a 2-1 record this week. He found the net four times and assisted on three other goals in the Mustangs 20-3 victory over Norwich University on Tuesday. The attacker added a pair of markers at Salve Regina University on Thursday and exploded for six tallies in Mount Ida's key 13-10 non-conference triumph over Plymouth State University on Sunday.
Caleb Keay, Daniel Webster (Fr. GK - Exto, Pa.)
Keay, a freshman goalkeeper, made 30 saves against the Nichols Bison to secure a one goal win. Keay stopped eight shots in the fourth period alone.

Men's Tennis

PLAYER OF THE WEEK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
David Gould, Thomas College (Sr. Norwood, Mass.)
Gould plays in the #1 spot for Thomas College. The senior won both his singles match and doubles match helping Thomas defeat Becker 8-1.
Dylan Louko, Johnson State (Fr. Colchester, Vt.)
Louko, playing in the #3 spot, won both his singles match (6-2, 7-5) and his doubles match (8-0) in helping Johnson State to a 8-1 team win over in-state rival Lyndon State College.
