Baseball

PLAYER OF THE WEEK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Matt Pavlis, Thomas (Jr. OF - Webster, Mass.)
Pavils hit .478 with five runs scored, 3 RBI and four stolen bases in a 4-1 week for the Terriers. Pavlis was 3-8 with a run, an RBI, two doubles and a stolen base in a series split with Becker on Saturday. On Sunday at Elms, the junior went a combined 7-9 with three runs, three stolen bases and an RBI.

RJ Vassallie, Elms (Fr. P - Long Branch, N.J.)
Vassallie earned his second win of the season after throwing his first collegiate shutout with a complete-game, four-hitter that included three strikeouts and just two walks in the Blazers' 1-0 conference win over Maine-Farmington last Saturday.

Softball

PLAYER OF THE WEEK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Lauren Stauch, Elms (Sr., CF - East Nassau, N.Y.)
Stauch batted .857 (12 for 14) with two doubles, three triples and 10 RBI in five games to help lead the Blazers to a perfect 6-0 week - all conference victories.

Lindsey Bamford, Lasell (Fr. IF - Fall River, Mass.)
Bamford went 9 for 15 against NAC opponents Husson and Maine Maritime (.600) which included five RBI, six runs scored and a double. Overall for the week, the freshman was 11 for 22 (.500) with a double and a triple.

Men's Lacrosse

PLAYER OF THE WEEK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Luke McPartlin, Maine Maritime (So. A - Belgrade, Maine)
McPartlin helped the Mariners post a 2-1 record on the week scoring five goals in the Mariner 11-8 win over Daniel Webster. The sophomore also scored two goals with two assists against Mt. Ida College and added four more goals against Green Mountain.
Seth Vaczy, Johnson State (Fr. A - Middlebury, Vt.)
Vaczy tallied 14 points (11 goals, 3 assists) in three Johnson State victories on the week including the game-winner in overtime in a 9-8 conference victory over Thomas.

Men's Tennis

PLAYER OF THE WEEK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Jessee Maranda, Castleton State (Fr. - Waitsfield, Vt.)
In Castleton's only match of the week, an 8-1 win over Becker, Maranda was perfect. Playing in the #2 spot, the freshman won his singles match 6-1, 6-1 and doubles 8-1.
Ian Smith, Johnson State (Fr. - Frederick, Md.)
Smith won both of his singles matches (12-7 & 6-1, 6-1) as well as both of his double matches in a 1-1 week for Johnson State which included a win over conference foe Becker.
