Matt VanDerKar, Castleton State (Jr. M - Manchester, Vt.) VanDerKar led Castleton to a 3-0 week, including conference wins over Daniel Webster and Maine Maritime to secure the second seed in the upcoming NAC tournament, with 13 goals, 5 assists and 37 ground balls. In an 18-7 win over Daniel Webster, the junior middie had 5 goals and 2 assists, while scooping up 18 ground balls. He was also perfect on the face-off. In a key league win over Maine Maritime, VanDerKar led the Spartans to a 14-6 win over Maine Maritime with 4 goals and 7 ground balls. The victory guaranteed the Spartans of a home tournament game. |
Brett Conley, Mount Ida (Fr. A - Fairfield, Conn.) Freshman Brett Conley collected 12 points on seven goals and five assists to propel Mount Ida to a perfect 2-0 mark last week. He recorded four goals and three helpers in a 20-4 victory over Emerson College on Wednesday. The attacker then totaled a hat trick and two assists in the Mustangs 23-4 win over Johnson State College on Saturday. Mount Ida is a flawless 7-0 in NAC play. |

Trevor Kelson, Johnson State (Sr. Bridgewater, Mass.) Kelson was named MVP of the NAC Men's Tennis Championships over the weekend winning the #1 flight in singles play and combined with Jason Mann to win the #1 doubles flight as well. Kelson helped Johnson State to a second-place team finish. |
