The Eagles were 2-0 this week in the NAC with a non conference
loss to Bates. Emery had 4 goals and 1 assist on the week,
including 4 goals in two NAC games. She recorded both of Husson
goals in a 2-1 win against Lasell. |
Kristin
Perkins, Simmons
(Freshman, Forward - White River Junction, Vt.)
Kristin Perkins scored three goals in two Simmons's victories
last week. A native of White River Junction, Vt., Perkins scored
in her team's 2-1 victory over Mount Holyoke on Thursday and
tallied two more scores in the Shark's 6-0 NAC win over Wheelock
on Saturday. |

Zach Gagne, Lasell
(Senior, Forward - Chicopee, Mass.)
Gagne scored five goals last week in conference play including
three goals in under four minutes against Maine Maritime
Academy. Gagne leads the Lasers in scoring with eight goals and
three assists. |
Sean Moylan, Elms
(Freshman, Forward - Chicopee, Mass.)
Moylan netted the game-tying goal in a 2-1 win over conference
foe Mount Ida last week for the Blazers. |

Shelby Pickering, Husson
(First Year, Forward - Lee, Maine)
Husson had 3 big conference wins this week. Pickering had 6
goals and an assist on the week. She had a goal in a 2-1 win
over rival UMF and three goals and an assist in a 6-1 win over
Mt Ida. She followed that up with two more goals in a 5-0 win
against Lasell.
Casey Rusin, Johnson State
(Junior, Forward - Wilmington, Vt.)
Rusin helped on all seven JSC goals in their 7-4 win over Lesley
University, the Badgers only game of the week. Rusin scored five
goals and assisted on two other goals in the victory. |
Diana Manatt-Rogers, Maine Maritime
(Freshman, Midfielder - Conway, Mass.)
The freshman midfielder scored two goals and had one assist as
the Lady Mariners went 3-0 in conference play for the week. |

Stephanie Saito, Mount Ida
(Sophomore, Setter - West Linn, Ore.)
Saito racked up 5.67 assists per game in a 1-1 week for Mount
Ida. The setter tallied 16 helpers in a 3-0 loss at Eastern
Nazarene College on Thursday. She then dished out 18 assists to
lead the Mustangs to a 3-0 win over Castleton State College on
Saturday. |
Lamesha Shackelford, Mount Ida
(Freshman, Middle Hitter - Randolph, Mass.)
Shackelford posted a hitting percentage of .522 in a 1-1 week
for Mount Ida. The middle hitter recorded 2.17 kills per game,
six service aces and four blocks in six games played. She
led Mount Ida to a 3-0 win over Castleton State College on
Saturday, as she collected nine kills, three aces and a pair of
blocks. |

Patty Quick, Johnson State
(Senior - Norfolk, Mass.)
Quick was 1-1 in singles action and 1-1 in doubles play in JSC's
0-2 as a team. Quick won both her singles and doubles match
against NAC foe Bay Path College. |
Abbie Griggs, Johnson State
(Freshman - Norwich, Vt.)
Griggs went 1-1 in singles action during the week, notching the
Badgers only point in a 8-1 loss at Lyndon State. |
Men's Cross Country

(Junior - Jaffrey, N.H.)
Finished 17th in the Roger Williams Invitational with a 29:49
finish time which helped the Laser finish 4th overall which is
their best team finish ever at the meet. |
Michael Sterns, Johnson State
(Freshman ? Hinesburg, Vt.)
Stearns helped the Badgers to a 15th place team finish at the
James Early Invitational at Westfield State College. Stearns
finished the race in 33:14.76, good enough for 160th place
overall. |

(Sophomore - West Burke, Vt.)
Faulkner's was tops for Johnson State (24:57.48) at the James
Early Invitational at Westfield State College. |
Michelle Barrows, Johnson State
(Freshman - Fairfax, Vt.)
Barrows finish the course in 25:04.12 at the James Early
Invitational at Westfield State College, just behind teammate
Amber Faulkner. |
