Jeremy Jorgensen, Castleton State
(Senior, Forward - Fairlee, Vermont)
In an 88-87 loss to Plymouth State, Jorgensen was a force
inside. The senior forward tallied 26 points and 14 rebounds,
including five on the offensive end while connecting on 11 of 15
shots from the field (73%). |
Mario Montes, Mount Ida
(Freshman, Guard/Forward - Randolph, Mass.)
Montes averaged 10.6 points per contest while shooting 58% from
the floor in a 1-2 week for Mount Ida. The wing player was 4-4
from the floor and 5-6 from the line tallying 13 points coming
off the bench in a win over Mitchell. The rookie dropped 15
points with 6 rebounds and 4 assists in a loss to Western
Connecticut the next night. |

Beth Pion, Becker
(Sophomore, Forward - Enfield, Conn.)
Pion led the Hawks to a 78-49 win over Fisher College last
Monday night. The sophomore forward shot 7-15 from the field
including three 3-pointers for 19 points. She had 13 rebounds to
complete her second double-double in as many games. Pion also
had 7 assists, 2 blocks and 5 steals in the Hawks only contest
of the week. |
Amanda Brogna, Elms College
(Freshman, Forward - Oxford, Mass.)
Brogna registered the game's only double-double with 10 points
and 14 rebounds to help lead Elms College to a 42-40
non-conference win over Smith last Tuesday night. The victory
was the first for Elms College over Smith since the 1982-83
season. |
