Georgia turned a lot of heads this week as she stepped up and led the potent Lynx offense, helping to guide the team to a 5-3 overall record.  For the week Georgia batted 11-22 (.500) with 5 of the 11 hits going for extra bases including two homeruns.  Georgia led the team with nine RBI and an outstanding .955 slugging percentage. 

Kristal Cormier, BayPath

Kristal Cormier pitched Bay Path College to a season opening 13-4 win over Keystone College, PA. She struck out 3 and had no walks. It was her first collegiate victory. She also had 2 hits in a split of games.

Brett Conley, Mount Ida
(Sophomore, Attacker ? Fairfield, Conn.)
Sophomore Brett Conley has racked up nine goals and three assists over Mount Ida?s first four contests this season. The attacker opened the year with a two-goal, one-assist performance in a 19-11 loss at Kean University. He found the net four times and scored the game-winner, as the Mustangs clipped Moravian College 15-14 in the opening round of the Colorado College Invitational. Conley collected a goal in the Championship game of the tournament against Roanoke College the following day. He then posted three points on two goals and a helper in Mount Ida?s 9-8 overtime loss versus Wesley College.
