PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jario Valdez, Becker College
(Fr, IF - Lynn, MA)
Valdez is batting .346 with 9 hits, 3 doubles and 3 RBI's as the
Hawks went 2-7 on their annual Florida trip. Jario had 17 put outs
and 18 assists in the nine games. He was 4 for 5 against Ramapo in
a doubleheader split.

NAC Men's Lacrosse Weekly Honors
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Michael Martinez, Castleton
(So., Midfield - Barrington, IL)
In a 1-1 week for the Spartans, Martinez provided five goals and
one assist off the bench. In a 13-8 NAC win over Emerson, Martinez
scored three goals, including the game winner. The sophomore
midfielder also recorded four ground balls on the week.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Dan Harrington, Mount Ida College
(Fr, D - Westford, MA)
Freshman defender Dan Harrington scored his first goal in a
Mustang uniform against a very tough Colorado College this past
Sunday. He has been a rock on the defensive side of the ball
tallying two ground ball pick-ups.

NAC Men's Tennis Weekly Honors
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jeremy Cliff, Thomas
(Fr., #1 singles/#1 doubles - Hermon, Maine)
Cliff won all the matches he played this weekend at #1
singles and #1 doubles. Cliff won 6-0, 6-0 and 8-0 against
Caslteton followed by the same performance, 6-0, 6-0 in singles and
8-0 in doubles against Wheelock. The freshman has not lost a game
in first three matches.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Justin Garritt, Castleton
(Fr., #4 Singles - Liberty, NY)
In Castleton's only match of the week, a 9-0 win at Thomas, Garritt
took home #4 singles honors with a 6-1, 6-0 win. Garritt also
teamed with Ted Panasci to win #2 doubles 8-4.

NAC Softball Weekly Honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Amanda Barker, Maine Maritime
Academy
(Freshman, Pitcher - Waterville, ME)
The freshman pitcher got her career off on the right foot, helping
MMA to a 2-0 start and contributing on the mound and at the plate.
Barker got both of MMA's wins and had 19 strikeouts in 10 innings
of work. She had 11 k's in just 5 innings against Fisher breaking
the school record for k's in a game. She also went 1 for 3 from the
plate in that game with a run scored and a rbi. In the second game
of the weekend she pitched 5 innings, picking up a win and striking
out 8 batters in MMA's 3-1 win over UMaine Presque Isle. She helped
her own cause at the plate once again, going 1 for 3 with 2 RBI's.
Along with the 19 k's, Barker did not give up an earned run in the
10 innings she pitched.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Alyson Durben, Lesley University
(Freshman, Outfielder - Stow, Mass.)
Freshman outfielder Alyson Durben batted .370 (10-27) down in Fort
Myers, FL this past week and led the Lynx with 17 total bases.
Durben finished with four runs, five runs batted in, and three
stolen bases. She posted an impressive .630 SLG% as she crushed a
home run and had four doubles on the week.
