(Senior, 1B - Sanford, ME)
Stefanilo went 2 for 3 with an RBI in the Beavers' season opening
loss against Mass. Maritime in Buzzards Bay. Stefanilo also made 15
putouts at first base.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Russ Schmelzer, Me.-Farmington
(Freshman, OF - Winthrop, ME)
Schmelzer made his debut with the Beavers in impressive fashion as
the freshman went 2 for 5 at the plate with two runs and three
walks in a pair of losses at Mass. Maritime. Schmelzer swiped four
bases in five attempts in the doubleheader.

NAC Men's Lacrosse Weekly Honors
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Christopher Keiley, Maine Maritime
Academy
(Freshman, Midfield - Holliston, MA)
The freshman midfielder started his collegiate career in style
this week. Keiley recorded eight points this week including five
goals and three assists. In a loss to UNE, Keiley had a goal and
two assists and grabbed 7 ground balls. In MMA's NAC win over
Becker, the freshman recorded 4 goals on only 5 shots, and also
added an assist in the match.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Nate Prince, Mount Ida College
(Freshman, Attackman - West Gardiner, ME)
Freshman attackman Nate Prince (West Gardiner, ME/Gardiner) had
his best outing in an Mount Ida uniform netting two goals and three
assists in a 19-4 win against Thomas College this past Saturday.

NAC Men's Tennis Weekly Honors
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Justin Garritt, Castleton State
College
(Freshman, #4 Singles - Liberty, NY)
In Castleton's only match of the week, a 5-4 loss at Norwich,
Garritt won #4 singles in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3. Garritt has yet
to drop a set through three matches this season.

NAC Softball Weekly Honors
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Tosha Whittemore, Castleton
(Freshman, P/INF - Bridport, VT)
In her first collegiate game, Whittemore went 3-for-3 at the
plate, scored a pair of runs and drove in one. The freshman pitcher
smacked a double and a homerun in the 12-6 loss to the Coast Guard
Academy.
