NAC Softball Weekly Honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Alicia Burnett, Lesley
(JR, P - Gulf Breeze, Fla.)
Junior pitcher Alicia Burnett pitched five complete games in three
days to lead the Lynx to the NAC Softball Championship this past
weekend. For her efforts, Burnett earned NAC Tournament MVP as she
averaged six strikeouts per game.

NAC Baseball Weekly Honors
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ethan Guerette, Husson
(First Year, Short Stop - Sabattus, Maine)
Guerette paced the Eagles at the plate in this weekend’s NAC
Championship. Guerette batted .600 over the weekend with 2 RBI and
2 runs in the leadoff spot for the Eagles. In the opening game the
Eagles upset #1 seeded Castleton 5-3. Guerette was 3-5 scoring 2
runs and driving in another. He followed that up with another 3-5
performance and an RBI in the 2-1 win over Thomas College.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Ryan Arsenault, Husson
(First Year, Pitcher - Portland, Maine)
Arsenault pitched the Eagles into the championship bracket with a
complete game 11 inning performance. He went the distance pitching
10 scoreless inning after giving up one run in the first inning,
scattering 6 hits while striking out 7 and walking only 3. The
Eagles won 2-1 in the bottom of the 11th.

NAC Men's Lacrosse Weekly Honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Craig Heintzelman, Mount Ida
(Junior, Midfielder - Windham, NH)
Junior face-off specialist Craig Heintzelman was honored as NAC
Tournament Most Valuable Player following the Championship game
against Castleton State this past Saturday at Mt. Ida Athletic
Field. He dominated the face-off circle winning 19-of-26
possessions along with the first goal of the contest. Heintzelman
picked up 11 groundballs giving his team the offensive
opportunities they needed for the victory.
