PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Caitlyn Walker, Lasell College
(Jr, F/MF - Middlebury, CT)
Walker set a career and school record on Wednesday when she scored
6 goals in one game, against Elms College. Walker led the Lasers to
a 9-2 win over the Blazers in a 1-0 week.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Amanda Sebastiao, Saint Joseph's College
(Me.)
(Freshman, Midfielder - Uxbridge, Massachusetts)
Sebastiao scored the first SJC goal, which proved to be the
game-winner, in a 5-0 victory over Salve Regina on October 11th.

NAC Men's Golf Weekly Honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Michael Krahn, Castleton State
College
(Fr., - Ridgefield, CT)
Krahn shot a tournament-best 155 to earn medalist honors at the
North Atlantic Conference Championship to lead Castleton to a
runner up finish. Krahn shot a 78 in round one and followed it up
with a 77, including an eagle from 120 yards out on the par-4
second hole at Rutland Country Club. Krahn's efforts also earned
him NAC Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors.

NAC Men's Soccer Weekly Honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Darren Roberge, Lyndon State
College
(Junior, Striker - Sheldon, VT)
Roberge scored the game-winning goal in double overtime on
Wednesday, Oct. 8 as Lyndon State defeated previously unbeaten
Norwich University 2-1. On Sunday, Oct. 12, Roberge had a goal and
an assist in the Hornets 2-0 win over Maine-Farmington.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Josh Labonte, Husson University
(Fy, D - Winslow, ME)
The Eagles were 2-0 this week in two NAC games. Labonte help led
the Eagles to two shutout wins over Green Mountian and Castleton.
Labonte had two defensive saves in the final minute of the 1-0 win
over Castleton.

NAC Women's Soccer Weekly Honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Amber Murphy, Me.-Farmington
(JR, F - Manchester, NH)
Murphy led the Beavers to a 3-0 week, including an overtime
game-winner in a 1-0 win over NAC foe Lyndon State and a goal and
two assists in an 8-0 rout against NAC foe Johnson State. Murphy
also collected a goal in the Beavers' 4-0 win over Becker.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Katelyn Cloutier, Husson
University
(Fy, D - Groveton, NH)
The Eagles were 3-0 this week and remained undefeated in NAC play.
Cloutier was outstanding at the defense end of the field in the two
conference wins this week. She helped Husson shutout Castleton in
the Eagles 1-0 win. Cloutier recorded two goals in a non conference
win over U. Maine Machias.

NAC Women's Tennis Weekly Honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ashley Dewhurst, Lyndon State
(Junior, North Conway, N.H.)
Last week Dewhurst recorded wins in No. 3 singles (6-2, 6-3) and
No. 2 doubles (8-4 w/ teammate Jill Newell) as Lyndon State
defeated the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts 5-4 for its
first victory of the 2008 season. On Tuesday, she earned the lone
Lyndon State win on the day in No. 3 singles with a 7-5, 6-4
victory over Plymouth State's Nikki Kolb.

NAC Women's Volleyball Weekly Honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jamie Lemieux, Castleton State
College
(Jr., Middle Hitter - Argyle, NY)
Lemieux was nearly flawless in Castleton's only match of the week,
a 3-0 win over Paul Smith's College. The junior middle hitter
record 12 kills on 13 attempts with zero errors (.923 attack
percentage). Lemieux also tallied one assist, one dig and 1.5
blocks on the day.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Shannon Mitchell, Me.-Farmington
(FR, RS - Portsmouth, NH)
Mitchell helped the Beavers in a 2-1 weekend with 23 kills, eight
errors in 55 attempts (.273 hitting percentage) with 13 total
blocks (three solo, 10 assists).

NAC Cross Country Weekly Honors

WOMEN'S RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Maggie Klein, Castleton State
College
(Jr., - Castleton, VT)
Klein finished 24th out of 206 runners at the James Early
Invitational hosted by Westfield State College. Klein ran the 5,000
meters in 20:27 to lead the Spartans to an 8th place finish in the
22 team field.
WOMEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Melani St. Pierre, Me.-Farmington
(FR, - Charlestown, NH)
St. Pierre led the way for the Beavers at St. Joseph's College's
Runnin' Monk Invitational. She posted a 20:33 to win the event.
MEN'S RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Ty Thurlow, Me.-Farmington
(SR, - Lee, ME)
Thurlow paced the Beavers with a second place finish at St.
Joseph's College's Runnin' Monk Invitational. Thurlow toured the 8K
course in 29:05.
MEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Cam Betts, Me.-Farmington
(FR, - Gray, ME)
Betts helped the Beavers with a third-place finish at St. Joseph's
College's Runnin' Monks Invitational. Betts toured the 8K course in
29:40.
