Gaetani, a senior captain, scored the game winning goal in 1-0 NAC
semifinal victory over the University of Maine at Farmington on
Saturday, November 1st.
Carolyn Griggs, Castleton State
College
(Sr., Forward - Lincoln, VT)
Griggs scored a pair of goals, including the game winner, and
added an assist to lead Castleton to a 5-2 NAC semifinal win over
Husson University. With the win Castleton advances to its
first-ever NAC Final.

Sarah Bartell, Saint Joseph's College
(Me.)
(Freshman, Forward - Exeter, NH)
Bartell scored her fourth goal of the season in a 3-1 NAC
quarterfinal victory over Thomas College on Wednesday, October
29th.

NAC Men's Soccer Weekly Honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Sean Fitzgerald, Castleton State
College
(Jr., Forward - Saratoga Springs, NY)
Fitzgerald tallied the game winning goal to lead Castleton to a
2-1 NAC Semifinal win over Farmington. With the win, Castleton
advances to its second-straight NAC Final and fourth in the last
six seasons.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Tyler Metevier, Husson University
(Fy, F - Kittery, ME)
The Eagles adanced the the NAC Championship game with a 10-0 win
over Lyndon State. Metevier had two goals in the win.

NAC Women's Soccer Weekly Honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Amber Murphy, Me.-Farmington
(JR, F - Manchester, NH)
Murphy led the Beavers to a pair of postseason victories as the
junior netted the overtime game-winner in a 1-0 semifinal win at
Castleton and scored a goal and set up the game-winner in a 3-2
overtime victory vs. Lyndon State in the opening round.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Mckell Barnes, Me.-Farmington
(SO, GK - Durham, ME)
After missing the first-round game, Barnes weathered 22 shots with
four saves in a 1-0 overtime win in the semifinals at Castleton.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jenna Rowan, Me.-Farmington
(SO, OH - Kittery, ME)
Rowan led the Beavers to a 3-0 opening-round victory over Thomas
with seven kills, an assist, four service aces, four digs and a
block assist.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Kayley Rodriguez, Maine Maritime
Academy
(Freshman, Setter - Quincy, IL)
In MMA's only match this week the freshman outside hitter moved
over to the setter position and collected a season high 28 assists.
MMA won the match 3-0 over UMaine Machias. Rodriguez also collected
2 kills, 3 aces and 4 digs in the lopsided match.

NAC Cross Country Weekly Honors

MEN'S RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Craig Johnson, Lyndon State
(Freshman, North Kingstown, RI)
Freshman Craig Johnson won the NAC Championships in a time of
29:03. It was the first win of Johnson's career.
WOMEN'S RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Lyndsay Calkins, Lyndon State
(Senior, Danville, VT)
Calkins won the NAC Championship race in an outstanding time of
18:52. The 5K course was hilly, muddy, but Calkins bested the next
closest competitor by over a minute.
