PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Chris Farrar, Thomas
(Fr., Pitcher - Oakland, ME)
Farrar posted a .000 ERA over 14 innings pitched, allowing just 4
hits while striking out 9 in two complete games as Thomas picked up
two victories blanking Maine-Farmington 8-0 on Wednesday and
defeating Lyndon State 5-0.

Nick Arthers, Husson
(Sr, OF/C - Belfast, ME)
The Eagles have won 10 straight including a 6-0 week. The sweep
UMF over the weekend and picked up non conference wins over Bowdoin
and Colby. Nick Arthers paced the Eagles hitting .385 (10-26) with
11 runs scored and 13 RBIs. He hit 3 HR and 2 2B on the week. In
the 17-6 win over Colby, Arthers was 3-5 with 2 HR and 1 2B driving
in 7 RBIs and scoring 3 runs.
Garrett Bissonnette, Castleton
(Jr., OF - Lyman, ME)
Bissonnette led the Spartans to a 5-1 week, batting .650
(13-for-20), including an 11-for-16 performance in four wins over
Maine-Farmington. The junior right-fielder collected five doubles
and a homerun, slugging 1.050 on the week. Bissonnette drove in 10
runs and scored nine, and also had an on base percentage of .680.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Dana Leland, Thomas
(Fr, C - Alton, ME)
Leland hit .600 (12-20) while recording 2 HR, 6 RBI, 2 doubles and
9 runs scored in a 5-1 week for the Terriers.

NAC Men's Lacrosse Weekly Honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Billy Noyes, Johnson State College
(Jr., Attack - Boston, Mass.)
Billy Noyes, in a 1-2 week for JSC, tallied 12 points on seven
goals and five assists. Noyes' week was highlighted by a 2-goal,
5-assist effort in a 20-10 NAC Quarterfinal win over Emerson.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Alex Petti, Johnson State College
(Fr., Mid/Att - East Greenwich, R.I.)
Alex Petti, in a 1-2 week for JSC, tallied five points on four
goals and an assist. Petti errupted for four goals in the Badgers
20-10 North Atlantic Conference victory over Emerson to highlight
his week.

NAC Men's Tennis Weekly Honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
C.J. Sullivan , Castleton
(Sr., - Rutland, VT)
Sullivan earned NAC Tournament MVP honors with a 2-0 record
playing #1 singles as Castleton won the NAC men's tennis team
championship defeating Johnson St. 8-1 and Thomas 7-2. On the week,
the senior was a combined 5-1 in singles and doubles competition.

NAC Softball Weekly Honors

PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Jordan Kennedy, Thomas College
(Fr, Pitcher - Detroit, Me.)
Kennedy won three games last week allowing just 2 earned runs in
24 innings for a .58 ERA while posting 37 strikeouts. The freshman
pitcher won two 1-0 contests; a 7 innings victory over UMF in which
she allowed 6hits, 2walks while striking out 13, and an eight
inning victory over Green Mountain giving up 3 hits with 3 walks
with 9 strikeouts.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mckell Barnes, Me.-Farmington
(SO, C/1B - Durham, ME)
Barnes batted .558 (24-43) with 12 runs scored, three doubles,
five home runs and 19 RBI in an 8-4 week for the Beavers.
Maintaining a .977 slugging percentage during the stretch, the
sophomore established this week and continued to build on a program
single season home run record (9) and has tied the career mark at
14.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Brianna Webster , Husson
University
(Fy, OF - Belfast, ME)
The Eagles were 7-2 this week and they completed at perfect 14-0
record in NAC play. Webster helped pace the Eagles hitting .393
(11-28) scoring 7 runs and driving in 10 RBIs. She had 4 2B, 1 3B,
and 2 stolen bases on the week. Husson earned the #1 seed and will
host the NAC Championship.

NAC Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Elizabeth Haggerty, Castleton
(Soph., Attacker - Centerport, N.Y.)
Haggerty scored a game-high five goals and earned Most Valuable
Player honors as Castleton defeated Husson 19-7 in the inaugural
North Atlantic Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship Sunday
afternoon. On the week, the sophomore attacker scored 11 goals in a
2-1 week for the Spartans.
