2009 NAC Spring Players of the Week

May 4, 2009 - Mount Ida College senior captain Leo Shidler led the Mustang men's lacrosse team to their sixth consecutive NAC men's lacrosse title this past Saturday with a record breaking nine goals and one assists gaining MVP tournament honors. Read about all the weekly selections.

Apr 27, 2009 - Thomas' Jordan Kennedy won three games last week allowing just 2 earned runs in 24 innings for a .58 ERA while posting 37 strikeouts earning NAC Softball Pitcher of the Week. Click to read about other NAC honorees this week.

Apr 20, 2009 - Castleton's Billy Manley led the Spartans to a 7-1 week, including a four-game sweep of NAC foe, Thomas. The junior third-baseman batted .500 (15-for-30) with six doubles and three homeruns, collecting 30 total bases for an impressive 1.000 slugging percentage. Manley scored 12 runs and drove in another dozen and was a perfect 7-for-7 in stolen base attempts earning NAC Baseball Player of the Week. Read about all this week's honorees.

Apr 13, 2009 - Castleton's Hilary Bemis posted a .643 batting average, going 9-for-14 with an otherworldly 1.500 slugging percentage. Bemis smacked four homeruns, including two in one inning versus Johnson State. She drove in 13 runs and scored six to lead the offense. Bemis also recorded a pair of wins as a pitcher, posting a five-inning no-hitter versus Lyndon State on Saturday earning NAC Softball Player of the Week.

Apr 6, 2009 - Billy Noyes tallied 15 points in a 2-0 week for Johnson State, both NAC victories for the Badgers. Noyes added 14 groundballs to his seven goals and eight assists earning NAC Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week. Read about all this week's nominees.

Mar 30, 2009 - Marie VanDerKar led Castleton to a 2-1 week, scoring 14 goals on 21 shots and handing out four assists. VanDerKar tallied a career-high nine goals in a conference victory over Becker and also corralled 10 ground balls and 12 draw controls on the week earning NAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week.

Mar 23, 2009 - Green Mountain's Brittany Holden won her first two outings of the year allowing just four hits and one earned run in two wins against Becker while posting 9 strike outs earning NAC Softball Pitcher of the Week honors. Click to read about all weekly honorees.

Mar 16, 2009 - Husson pitcher Ryan Arsenault made three starts featuring a .42 ERA on the trip with a total of 17 strikeouts and holding teams to a .128 batting average as the Eagles went 9-4 on a Southern trip. He was 1-0 in the three starts with a complete game (9 innings) 1-0 win over Misericordia.
