2011-12 NAC All-Academic Teams
The North Atlantic Conference is proud to announce the 2011 Fall All-Academic honorees. Seventy-two student-athletes who participated in a fall conference sport received recognition. To be honored, a student-athlete must have reached junior academic standing, have competed a minimum two years of varsity competition at their institution with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50.

NAC Men's Basketball Weekly Honors
Husson's Luis Medina averaged 20 points in a pair of wins this weekend and was named NAC Player of the Week. Mike Dias led Colby-Sawyer to a 2-1 week, averaging 19 points and 10.3 rebounds per game to earn Rookie of the Week honors.

NAC Women's Basketball Weekly Honors
Taylor DeSanty led Colby-Sawyer to three road wins averaging 28.3 points per game and earned NAC Player of the Week honors. Jasmin Amaral helped lead Lyndon to a win in its only game of the week, scoring 12 points and filling out her stat sheet with five rebounds, four assists and three steals to earn Rookie of the Week accolades.

UMF's Morrison Earns Capital One Academic All-District
FARMINGTON, Maine -- University of Maine at Farmington senior guard Emma Morrison (Saco, Maine) was named to the 2012 Capital One Academic All-District 1 NCAA Division III First Team as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America this afternoon.

NAC Men's Basketball Weekly Honors
Mark Comstock led Castleton to a 3-0 week, including a pivotal win over UMF to give the Spartans sole possession of first place, and earned NAC Player of the Week. Colby-Sawyer's Koang Thok averaged 16 points per game to help the Chargers to a 3-0 week and earn NAC Rookie of the Week accolades.

NAC Women's Basketball Weekly Honors
Cailin Bullett filled the Colby-Sawyer stat sheet this week, leading the Chargers to a pair of wins and earning NAC Player of the Week honors. Brittany Robertson was named NAC Rookie of the Week after averaging an impressive 22 points and six rebounds per game for Johnson State.

Lou Jarvis Featured in NCAA Champion Magazine
Johnson State College Head Golf Coach Bill Boldwin's recent tribute to his mentor, and former Badger Head Coach Lou Jarvis was featured in the latest issue of NCAA Champion Magazine. The article, entitled "A 7-Iron Approach to Life" was featured in the quarterly publication as part of its obituary and tributes section.

NAC Men's Basketball Weekly Honors
Martin Cleveland was nearly unstoppable for Thomas this week, averaging 20 points and 11 rebounds while shooting 75% from the field to earn NAC Player of the Week accolades. Johnson State's Cory Chase was named NAC Rookie of the Week for the second-straight week, averaging 11 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while shooting 91% from the floor.
