![]() NAC Baseball Weekly Honors Husson's Tom Crews was named Most Valuable Player in this past weekends NAC Baseball Championship. The sophomore centerfielder went 6-for-14 with two doubles, a homerun and five runs batted in to lead the Eagles. Crews was also phenomenal in the field, making several highlight reel catches and gunning down two runners at home plate. ![]() Husson Steals NAC Championship in Bottom of the Ninth Husson University scored three runs with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning, walking off with the North Atlantic Conference Title, 7-6 over defending champion, Castleton State College Sunday afternoon at East Field. ![]() Husson's Nick Arthers Named NAC Baseball Player of the Year Senior catcher Nick Arthers of Husson University was honored as the North Atlantic Conference Baseball Player of the Year in a vote by the conference coaches. Arthers led the league in several categories including runs batted in (59), slugging percentage (.814) and on base percentage (.519). On the season, the senior has scored 42 runs while hitting .442 with nine home runs as Husson finished 13-3 in conference play. ![]() NAC Baseball Weekly Honors Thomas' Chris Farrar posted a .000 ERA over 14 innings pitched, allowing just 4 hits while striking out 9 in two complete games as Thomas picked up two victories earning NAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week honors. ![]() NAC, NEAC enter partnership to expand associate membership The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) and North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) have entered into a partnership to expand associate membership. The NEAC will gain associate members in the sports of baseball and women's tennis while the NAC will add members for men's tennis and women's lacrosse. |
