NAC Men's Golf All-Conference Teams Announced

After finishing as the individual medalist at the NAC Golf Championships, first year Chris Coffin of Husson College was announced as the NAC Player of the Year. Coffin, who shot 73, 73 for a 6-over two day total of 146, also earned Rookie of the Year honors with the lowest two-day total for a first year player.

Joining Coffin on the NAC All-Conference First Team were teammates Adam Duplisea who finished second posting a two-day total of 150 (72, 78), and Lance Libby who finished in third place shooting 151 (74, 77). Neil Daigneault of Elms College finished fourth with a score of 156 (78, 78), and tied at 161 was Justin Richard of Becker College (81, 80) and Jim Hurlbut of Elms College (79, 82) who rounded out the 2006 NAC Golf All-Conference First Team.

After leading the Eagles to the NAC title, Husson head coach D. Bruce MacGregor was named NAC Coach of the Year in a vote by his peers.  Thomas College was honored with the inaugural Team Sportsmanship Award.
