The Eagles won the NAC Championship with a two day total of 619.
Duplisea took home Player of the Year honors as medalist with a two
day total of 148 (77,71). Husson earned thier third straight NAC
title.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Mark Hamel, Husson
(FY, - Waterville, ME)
Husson won the NAC Championship with a two day total of 619. Hamel
finished 6th overall with a two day total of 160 (81,79) He was
named NAC Rookie of the Year and 2nd team ALl-NAC.

GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Bryan Smith, Castleton State
College
(Sr., - St. Albans, VT)
Smith earned medalist honors at the ECAC Championship in Chicopee,
Massachusetts. The senior shot a 2-under 69 on day one, then backed
that up with a 1-over 72 on day two to win the tournament by five
strokes. The 141 is a new Castleton record for a two-round event,
and the 69 also sets the low-mark for a round by a Spartan.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Ben Costain, Thomas College
(Fr., - Benton, Maine)
Freshman Ben Costain just shot a pair of 75's at the Husson
Invitational. The freshman tied for 5th in a field of 65 leading
the Terriers to a 6th place team finish.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Neil Daigneault, Elms College
(Sr., - Ludlow, MA)
Daigneault carded a school-record round of 3-under par 69 at last
week's Rhode Island College quad-match at Triggs Memorial Golf
Course in Providence, RI. He recorded seven birdies and was five
shots ahead of the nearest competitor en route to individual
medalist honors in the 20-player field.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Josh Gallagher, Husson
(FY, - Winslow, ME)
Husson won the John Queenan Memorial Tournament hosted by Saint
Joseph College with a team score of 296. Gallagher tied for the
team low of +1 73 finishing in a tie for second.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Bryan Smith, Castleton State
College
(Sr., - St. Albans, VT)
Smith was outstanding in a pair of matches this week. In a
mid-week dual match with R.P.I. Smith shot a 76 to win the match at
Equinox in Manchester, VT. The senior captain followed that up with
a program-record 144 (73, 71) at the Williams College Invitational,
finishing one stroke off the lead and two-over par in the 100
player field.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Nick Pelletier, Husson
(Fy, - Orrington, ME)
Husson won a pair of modified scoring tournaments over the weekend
at Colby College. Pelletier finished tied for second on the first
day shooting a 77 with a modified score of 11. On Sunday he teamed
up with Adam Fournier to shoot a 2nd best 73 (6 holes Best Ball, 6
holes Alternate, 6 holes Scramble).

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

The Eagles won two tournaments over the weekend, the State of
Maine Collegiate Championship and the UMF Invitational. Duplisea
finished 2nd in the State Championship with at two day total of 153
(+11). He followed that up finishing in a tie for first in the UMF
Invitational losing on matching cards with a 79 (+7). Duplisea was
named to the All-Maine team.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Josh Gallagher, Husson
(FY, - Winslow, ME)
Gallagher playing is his first tournament of his career posted a
two day total of 155 (+13) good for 3rd play in the State of Maine
Colligate Championship. He followed that up with an 81 (+9) at the
UMF Invitational finishing in 8th place. Gallagher was named 1st
Team All-Maine.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Chris Coffin, Husson
(SO, - Presque Isle, ME)
Husson won the Bowdoin Invitational with a team total of 611 over
two days. They edged out St. Anslem and Tufts for the win. Coffin
finished 3rd overall with a two day total of 150 (+6) two strokes
off the winning score.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Kevin Byrne, Husson
(FY, - Winslow, ME)
Byrne shot a +7 151 over the two days finishing 4th overall and
2nd for the Eagles as Husson won the Bowdoin Invitational with a
team total of 611 over two days.
