Wood shot a two round score of 149 to lead the Castleton State College men's golf team to a two-way tie of third place at the 2009 ECAC Division Three New England Golf Championship on Sunday at the Tunxis Plantation Golf Course. The sophomore was six over par on Saturday shooting a 76, but rallied back on Sunday firing a 73 on the par-70 course for a two-way tie of third place overall out of 70 competitors.

Cochrane shot an 82 to helped the Beavers to a third-place finish at the USM Fall Classic and teamed with Nick Waltz for a 73 at the Southern Maine Cup in helping Farmington to runner-up.
