NAC Mens Basketball All-Conference Teams Announced

Becker junior guard Travis Suber was named the North Atlantic Conference Player of the Year in a vote by the league's coaches. Suber led the conference in steals with nearly four per game in conference play and ranked second in the league in points and assists averaging 22.2 points and 5.15 assists per contest.
Joseph Chatman earned first team honors for the second consecutive season. Chatman, a senior guard for Lesley, averaged 17.2 and 3.69 assists while leading the conference in free throw percentage shooting 89.0% from the line.
A pair of sophomore guards earned first team accolades. Juan Galdon led Elms’ high scoring attack with 18.8 points while shooting over 50% from the field and from behind the three point line. Husson’s Brock Bradford averaged 15. points and 4.54 assists for the Eagles. The pair finished one/two in assist to turnover ratio leading their teams to the top seed in their respective divisions.
Johnson State’s Charlie Viana led the conference in scoring at 22.4 points per game earning first team accolades. The senior wing led his squad in scoring in 8 of the 12 conference games including a season high 42 points at division rival Elms.
Castleton junior forward Josh Howe completes the NAC men’s basketball all-conference first team. Howe scored 20.7 points per game while shooting over 50% from the field. Howe was among the conference leaders in free throw percentage (82.4%), steals (2.92 spg), 3-point field goal percentage (53.5%).
Thomas freshman guard Andrew Duncanson earned NAC Rookie of the Year honors. Duncanson led all freshman scoring 17.5 points per conference game and adding 3.77 assists ranking him sixth in the conference in both categories. The rookie was among the league leaders in steals (2.00 per game), three-point field goal percentage (44.4%) and assist to turnover ratio.
Becker’s Brian Gorman and Maine Maritime’s Chris Murphy shared NAC Coach of the Year accolades while Wheelock College was honored with the Team Sportsmanship Award. NAC all-conference selections are determined by a vote of the conference coaches. Additional players honored are due to ties in the voting.
