NAC Men's Basketball Weekly Honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Josh Howe, Castleton State College
(Jr., Guard - Randolph, VT)
Howe led Castleton to a pair of non-conference wins with strong play on both the offensive and defensive ends of the court. The junior guard averaged 24.5 points, 4 rebounds and 2.5 steals over the two games. Howe shot 59% (17-29) from the floor and torched the nets from beyond the arc at a 67% (10-15) clip.

 

Sean Fry, Me.-Farmington
(SR, F - Jay, ME)
Fry scored a career-high 35 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the Beavers' 83-73 win over conference foe Husson in Bangor on Monday. Fry's total -- the highest individual mark since 2002 for a UMF player -- include five 3-pointers. Fry also scored 12 points in a 58-48 loss to USM Friday.

 

 

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Andrew Dean, Me.-Farmington
(FR, G - Gorham, ME)
Dean helped the Beavers to an 83-73 win over conference foe Husson with 11 points, six rebounds and three assists. Dean also had five points and three boards in a 58-48 loss to USM.
