PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Eric Taylor, Me.-Farmington
(JR, F - Oakland, ME)
Taylor averaged 25.5 points and 10.5 rebounds with a .769 field-goal percentage (20-26) in an 0-2 week for the Beavers. The junior poured in a career-high 40 points in a loss to Southern Maine -- the most by a Farmington player since Daren Meader '00 set the program single-game standard at 44 in 2000.

 

 

 

 

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Avery King, Lyndon State College

King scored a game-high 24 points, grabbed two rebounds and had two steals in Lyndon's 83-54 loss to Division I Dartmouth College on Sunday. On Saturday, he tossed in 27 points, dished out three assists and had two steals in the Hornets' 101-79 victory over New England College. King opened the week with a 12-point, three-reboound performance in a 74-60 setback at the hands of Playmouth State University On Thursday, Dec. 10. In a 1-2 week the freshman averaged 21 points.
