Hahn was named the North Atlantic Conference men's soccer
tournament Most Valuable Player after tallying the game winning
goal in the championship game on Saturday.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Brian Lemont, Me.-Farmington
(JR, GK - Brunswick, ME)
Lemont made five stops in scoreless regulation and two 10-minute
overtimes and blocked two bids during the penalty kick shootout as
the No. 5 Beavers advanced on PKs against No. 4 Elms in NAC
quarterfinal action Sunday.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Zachary Almeida-Beers, Lesley
University
(FR, GK - Rehoboth, MA)
Despite going 1-2 for the week and losing their NAC Quartefinal to
Husson College, Almeida-Beers recorded a shutout of Curry College.
He tallied 15 saves against Curry and Lesley won the game 2-0. On
the week, Almeida-Beers made 21 saves and allowed 4 goals in 3
games.

Ryan Hahn, Castleton State College
(Jr., Forward - Benson, VT)
Hahn picked the right time of the year to get hot. In Saturday's
4-2 victory over Thomas the junior tallied a hat-trick to lead the
Spartans. With the win Castleton clinched home-field advantage
throughout the NAC tournament.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Aaron Woodman, Husson
(FY, F - Dexter, ME)
Husson won thier only game this week, 1-0 over conference foe Elms
College. Woodman scored the game winning goal at the 85:42
mark.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

In a pair of conference victories this weekend Hahn played a part
in all four Spartan goals. In Saturday's 2-1 win over Becker Hahn
had an assist, and scored the game winner in overtime. Sunday the
junior assisted on the game-winner, and tacked on an insurance goal
in the second half.

Tyler Reeves, Lesley University

Reeves led the Lynx to a 2-1 record on the week with two goals
including a game winning goal against Mass Maritime Academy. In
just his freshman year, Reeves leads the team with 8 goals and 19
points total and has helped the Lynx reach a 4-4 record in the NAC.

Jason Gianatti, Becker College
(JR, F - Southington, CT)
Gianatti picked up his first two goals of the season in the Hawks
ninth win a 6-3 decision over St. Joe's. Gianatti's first
goal broke a 2-2 tie and gave the Hawks the lead for good. The
junior's second goal gave the Hawks a 5-2 lead.

Miguel Dominguez, Husson
(FY, G - Rome, GA)
The Eagles were 3-0 this week, including a 4-0 win over conference
rival UMF. Dominguez had a shutout against UMF making 4 saves
against 12 shots. Against Green Mountain he had 7 saves against 13
shots allowing one goal. Against Lyndon State he recorded 5 saves
against 8 shots again allowing one goal.

Co-PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Dircilino DeBrito, Becker College
(Jr, F - New Bedford, MA)
The junior forward had four goals for the Hawks, who went 3-0 (2-0
NAC) last week. Dircilino scored the first goal in a 2-1 win over
Mount Ida. In conference play over the weekend he had a goal
against Husson in another 2-1 win. In a 4-3 win over Maine Maritime
DeBrito picked up a pair of goals including the game winner in the
84th minute.
Mike Anthony, Castleton State
College
(Jr., Goal Keeper - Dartmouth, MA)
Anthony anchored a Spartan defense that did not allow a goal in
over 181 minutes of soccer this week. The junior goalie made 18
saves in a pair of 1-0 wins over MCLA and Elms College. Anthony
stopped seven shots in an overtime victory over MCLA, then turned
away 11 in the conference win on Saturday.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Alie Samura, Becker College
(Fr, F - Milton, MA)
Samura had a goal and an assist last week for the Haws who went
3-0 (2-0 NAC). In a 4-3 win over Maine Maritime on Sunday, Alie
scored to give the Hawks a 3-2 edge and then assisted on the game
winner by Dircilino DeBrito. Alie is tied for the team lead with 7
goals on the season

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
T.J. Nevue, Elms College
(So., F - Palmer, MA)
Nevue recorded three goals and one assist in two games last week,
including two goals and an assist in the Blazers 3-0 shutout win
over conference foe Maine-Farmington last Saturday.
Co-ROOKIES OF THE WEEK
Alie Samura, Becker
(Fr, F - Milton, MA)
Samura scored four goals to led Becker to a 2-1 (1-1 NAC) week. He
scored two goals in a 3-0 win over Rivier College. Alie tallied two
more goals, both within a five minute span, to give the Hawks a 3-2
conference win over Thomas.
Gai Gai, Johnson State College
(Fr., Striker - Burlington, Vt.)
Gai scored both goals in the Badgers 2-0 defeat of NAC foe Maine
Maritime Academy to push JSC to a 1-1 week. The goals were the
first and second of Gai's young career.

Brian Lemont has allowed one goal over 310 minutes of manning the
pipes as the Beavers opened their season at 1-0-2. Lemont made 10
saves -- including a penalty kick and a free kick -- in UMF's 1-1
season-opening tie at USM on Tuesday (the Beavers were outshot
23-7). Lemont also made six saves in a 0-0 stalemate at Thomas on
Saturday and four stops in a 1-0 over visiting Mitchell on Sunday.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Andrew Pelletier, Thomas College
(Freshman, Forward - Topsham, Maine)
Pelletier scored 3 goals in as many games helping lead the Thomas
College Terriers to a win and two ties. The freshman forward scored
twice in a 3-0 win over Southern Vermont and scored the first of
two comeback goals for the Terriers as they earned a 2-2 tie with
Green Mountain.

Dylan Woolf, Johnson State College
(So., Midfielder - Charlotte, Vt.)
Woolf scored the game-winning overtime goal in the Badgers 2-1
victory over conference and in-state rival Castleton on Saturday,
JSC's only game of the week.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Tyler Reeves, Lesley University
(FR, S - Coventry, Conn.)
In just his second collegiate game Reeves came through in a big
way for the Lynx. Reeves was a spark plug for the Lesley offensive
as he scored three goals and had an assist in Lesley's 11-0 win
over Fisher College.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Tim Costa, Thomas College
(2009, Forward - Pelham, NH)
The Thomas College men's soccer team won its first game in three
season, beating the University of Maine at Presque Isle 2-0
Saturday at the University of Maine at Fort Kent. The victory
marked was Thomas' season opener. Tim Costa scored at 12 minutes,
43 seconds of the first half to give Thomas a 1-0 lead. On Sunday,
Costa scored two goals in leading the soccer team to their second
consecutive win in beating UM-Fort Kent 2-1.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Alie Samura, Becker College
(Fr, F - Milton, MA)
Samura scored his first collegiate goal in his first collegiate
game for Becker College on Saturday. The freshman forward scored an
unassisted goal with less than ten minutes to play to give Becker a
2-1 win over Bard College on Saturday. Samura led the Hawks with
four shots on net.
