NAC Women's Basketball Weekly Honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Caitlyn Laflin, Me.-Farmington
(SO, F - Farmingdale, ME)
Laflin led the Beavers to a 2-1 week, including hitting three free throws with no time remaining to slip past Lasell 67-66 in the Williams Holiday Classic consolation game Sunday. Laflin finished the game with team-highs of 20 points and eight rebounds. In a 76-53 loss to Endicott on Saturday, Laflin scored 12 points and pulled down eight boards. In a 69-58 win over NAC foe Thomas, Laflin tallied team-highs of 18 points and 10 rebounds.

 

Co-ROOKIES OF THE WEEK

Jillian Ross, Me.-Farmington
(FR, G - Belfast, ME)
Ross came off the bench to provide some punch for the Beavers in a 2-1 week. Ross tallied eight points and grabbed seven boards in a 69-58 win over NAC foe Thomas. She also added eight points in a 76-53 loss to Endicott in the opening round of the Williams Holiday Classic. 

Katie Pushard, Maine Maritime Academy
(Freshman, Guard - Winthrop, ME)
Freshman point guard Katie Pushard was outstanding in MMA's 3-0 week. Pushard came off the bench to record a career high 13 points and a career high 6 assists in the teams win over NESCAC rival Colby College. For the week she shot 5-12 from the floor and 15-18 from the free throw line. She averaged 8 points and 4 assists in the 3 wins.
