Husson's Shelby Bradford was named the NAC East Tournament MVP and
led the Eagles to their first NAC East championship. Bradford
tallied 13 goals, 4 assists, 32 groundballs, 23 draw controls, and
9 caused turnovers in 3 wins.

Bryanna Astor, Green Mountain

Bryanna had another outstanding week for the Eagles, tallying nine
goals in a pair of contests. In a 12-8 win over Daniel Webster, the
freshman notched three markers on seven shots followed by a
six-goal outburst in a 12-11 loss to Me.-Farmington in the NAC East
Division semifinal. Against the Beavers, Astor scored her sixth
goal to knot the score at 11 with just 19 seconds remaining before
UMF snatched the victory with a quick strike just moments later.

Amanda Malkin, Green Mountaim
College

Amanda Malkin helped the Eagles to a 1-1 week in North Atlantic
Conference East Division play tallying 12 goals and two helpers. In
a tough 13-10 loss to the University of Maine Farmington Saturday,
Malkin scored five goals and added an assist. Sunday, the junior
spurred a 12-goal second-half outburst for the Eagles, tallying
seven markers and one helper.

Jessica Allen, Me.-Farmington
(SR, A - Mexico, ME)
Allen netted 11 goals in a 2-1 week for the Beavers, including a
pair of NAC East wins. The senior also led the team in draw
controls with 16.
EAST DIVISION PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Bryanna Astor, Green Mountain
College
(FR, A - Milltown, NJ)
Bryanna Astor scored ten goals, a pair of assists, and eight
ground balls last week helping the Green Mountain College Eagles to
a 2-1 week. The freshman attacker netted four markers and an assist
in a 9-5 North Atlantic Conference victory over Thomas College
Saturday and chipped in with three goals in a 14-4 victory over
Sage College. Against Husson University Sunday, Astor scored three
of the six GMC goals in a losing effort.

Megan Clement, Husson University
(Jr., A - Brunswick, ME)
Meg Clement scored 16 goals in three games, leading husson to
three conference wins this week. Against Thomas, Clement tallied 5
goals, 5 groundballs, 4 caused turnovers. In Husson's win against
U. Maine at Farmington, Clement recorded 5 goals and 3 groundballs.
Clement rounded out her goalscoring week with 6 goals, 1
groundball, and 2 caused turnovers in a 16-6 win vs. Green Mountain
College.

Meg Denby, Thomas College

Denby scored 7 goals and had one assist in Thomas' 17-9 win over
Elms College this weekend. She had 13 ground balls, 5 draw controls
and was an was a true leader on the field.
WEST DIVISION PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Laura Dougherty, Keuka
(Jr, A - Geneva, NY)
Dougherty scored 9 goals on 11 shots, 6 assists and 6 individual
ground balls leading the Storm to a 2-0 week. In a win over Wilson
College, Dougherty netted 5 goals and dished out 4 assists and then
had 4 goals and 2 assists in a win over SUNY-Morrisville as the
Storm remained undefeated in conference action.

Kristen Capen, Husson University

Capen recorded 7 saves on 19 shots in a 27-8 victory versus Rivier
College. The rookie made 8 saves on 17 shots in Husson's 23-7 win
over Green Mountain College.

Allen led the Beavers to a 2-0 week, including a NAC East win over
Green Mountain. The senior netted six goals and assisted on two
others. She also had 12 groundballs and six draw controls.
Kiley Jolicoeur, Thomas
(Jr. M - Oakland, ME)
Jolicoeur had 7 goals, 6 ground balls and 2 draw controls in the
Terriers first win of the season over Daniel Webster College.
WEST DIVISION PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Carmen Velazquez, Morrisville State
University
(Sr., M - Syracuse, NY)
Velazquez, a senior midfielder for the Mustangs was selected for
her outstanding offensive effort, despite the team's 1-2 record for
the week. Velazquez had 12 goals on 19 shots, an assist and
14 individual ground balls for the week. In an 11-10 loss to
Division II Fort Lewis, Velazquez netted a team high 5 goals and in
a 16-9 win over Medaille College, she scored 6 times and added an
assist as the Mustangs remained undefeated in conference action.

Michelle Rancourt collected 8 groundballs in Husson's 15-15 tie
with Saint Joseph's of Maine. Against Framingham State, the rookie
tallied 3 goals and 4 groundballs. Rancourt collected 3 goals, 1
assist, 6 grounballs in Husson's win against Regis College.

Lotkowictz, a senior attack for the Express was selected for her
outstanding offensive effort, leading the Express to 1-0
week. In an 18-11 over Mt. St. Mary College, Lotkowictz
scored 5 goals on 6 shots, dished out 3 assists and collected 1
individual ground ball.
NAC EAST DIVISION ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Bryanna Astor (Milltown, NJ) tallied a pair of goals and assists
in a 11-5 victory over St. Joseph College (CT) Sunday afternoon.
Astor netted the game-winning goal mid-way through the first half,
added a second just after halftime, and nabbed four draw controls
on the afternoon.

and six assists in a pair of games last week. In a season opening
11-7 loss to Becker, Malkin notched three goals and a pair of
helpers while adding a game-high five goals and four assists in a
16-1 rout over Elms.

Lotkowictz, a senior attacker for the Wells College Express was
selected for her outstanding offensive effort despite the teams 0-3
record for the week. Lotkowictz finished the week with 10
goals on 13 shots, 7 assists and 14 individual ground balls.
Lotkowictz scored 3 goals and dished out 3 assists against
Hartwick, had 4 goals and 3 assists against Ramapo and rounded out
the week with 3 goals and an assist against Kean.
