NAC Women's Soccer All-Conference Teams Announced
After leading the conference with 18 goals and nine assists in 12 conference contests, Husson’s Shelby Pickering was named North Atlantic Conference Player of the Year in a vote by the conference coaches. The sophomore forward led a high-powered Eagles attack which led the conference with 55 goals scored during the regular season.
Lesley freshman forward Jodi Fralick was selected as the conference Rookie of the Year. A first-team all-conference selection as well, Fralick tallied 8 goals in 11 league games.
Elms head coach Ryan Kelly was honored as NAC Coach of the Year. Finishing his third season with the Blazers, Kelly led Elms to an 11-1-0 conference mark and the top seed in the NAC Championship Tournament.
Wheelock College was honored with the Team Sportsmanship Award. NAC all-conference selections are determined by a vote of the conference coaches. Additional players honored are due to ties in the voting.
