NAC Women's Soccer Weekly Honors
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kelly Tetreault, Castleton
(Jr., Back - Tolland, Conn.)
Tetreault was an absolute stopper in the defensive backfield,
leading Castleton to a NAC title and earning tournament most
valuable player honors. The junior defender played an integral role
in shutting out four-time defending champion Husson, and provided
an assist on what proved to be the game-winner just three minutes
and nine seconds into the contest.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Maria Arnot, Castleton
(Jr., Forward - Milford, N.Y.)
Arnot helped propel Castleton to the North Atlantic Conference
Championship game for the second-straight season with two goals off
the Spartan bench. The junior forward scored what proved to be the
game-winner in the 37th minute of play, corralling a loose ball at
the top of the penalty box and depositing it just inside the
top-right corner of the goal. Arnot put the game on ice in the 81st
minute, scoring her second of the game and giving Castleton a 3-1
victory over Johnson State.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Michelle Manning, Husson
Unviersity
(Sr., Midfield - Hampden, ME)
Michelle Manning paced the Eagles this week, scoring three goals
in Husson's two wins over Colby and Thomas. Manning tallied the
only goal of the day in Husson's 1-0 win over Colby College. In the
last NAC regular season game versus Thomas, Manning contributed two
goals toward the 4-0 victory.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Kayla Tuttle, Me.-Farmington
(FR, M - Waterville, Maine)
Tuttle helped the Beavers to a 2-0 week with three goals and two
assists. The freshman notched two goals and an assist in a 5-0 NAC
win at Thomas and a goal and an assist in a 3-0 NAC victory over
Maine Maritime.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ericka Davis, Castleton
(So., Goalie - Cambridge, Vt.)
Davis led Castleton to a 2-0-1 week with a pair of shutouts. The
sophomore keeper stopped 10 shots, and posted a .31 goals against
average and a .909 save percentage. In Sunday's conference finale
Davis turned away six shots to preserve a 0-0 draw with four-time
defending NAC Champion Husson, and wrap up Castleton's
second-straight undefeated regular season in conference play.

Kayla Tuttle, Me.-Farmington
(FR, M - Waterville, Maine)
Tuttle helped the Beavers to a pair of NAC victories with three
assists. The freshman played every minute in Farmington's wins over
Johnson State (2-1) and Lyndon (2-0).

Courtney Chadburn, Castleton
(Jr., Forward - North Clarendon, Vt.)
Chadburn led Castleton to a 2-0 week in conference play, scoring
four goals on six shots on net, in shutout wins over Green Mountain
and Johnson State. The junior forward posted her first hat-trick of
the season, scoring three goals including what proved to be the
game winner against Green Mountain. In Friday's win over Johnson
State Chadburn turned in a single goal effort, the first time in
five games she did not post multiple markers.

Kate Thibodeau, Thomas College
(FY, GK - Woolwich, ME)
Katie Thibodeau (Woolwich, ME) made four saves on nine Maine
Maritime shots in the Terriers double overtime victory on
Friday.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Courtney Chadburn, Castleton
(Jr., Forward - North Clarendon, Vt.)
Chadburn led Castleton to a 3-0 week, scoring six goals and
dishing out three assists in wins over SUNY-Cobleskill, Elmira and
Lyndon. The junior striker had two goals and two assists in a
mid-week blowout of Cobleskill, and followed it up with two-goal,
one-assist performance in a 4-2 win over Elmira. Sunday against NAC
foe Lyndon Chadburn scored a pair of goals, including the
game-winner. Chadburn's six goals came on 12 shots on goal.

Rebecca Jones, Husson University
(Fy., Midfield - Newmarket, NH)
Rebecca Jones contributed 2 goals toward Husson's NAC win over
Maine Maritime. On the season, the rookie has 6 goals and 1
assist.

Hilary Cooke, Castleton
(Jr., Forward - Marlborough, Conn.)
Cooke helped Castleton to a 3-0 week, scoring four goals on five
shots on net and handing out two assists. The junior forward
tallied two goals, including the game-winner, and an assist in
Tuesday's 4-1 win at Norwich. Cooke followed that up with the
game-winner and an assist in Saturday's win over Thomas, and a
single marker in Sunday's shutout of Farmington.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Amber McCullock, Johnson State
College
(Fr., GK - Morrisville, Vt.)
Amber McCullock had a 1-1 week in net for Johnson including a NAC
victory over visiting Maine Maritime Academy. McCullock made nine
saves in that win and was perhaps even better in a 2-0 loss to
Husson on Sunday making a dozen stops.

Hilary Cooke, Castleton
(Jr., Forward - Marlborough, Conn.)
Cooke scored a pair of goals in a 1-1 week for the Spartans. In a
mid-week, 3-2 win over Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts,
Cooke's goal in the 21st minute tied the score at 1-1. The junior
forward gave Castleton an early 1-0 lead at Plattsburgh State on
Saturday night, before the Spartans fell 2-1.

Kelsie Perdue, Johnson State
College
(Fr., Forward - Barre, Vt.)
Kelsie Perdue recorded five points in a 2-0 week for Johnson
including two goals in a 9-0 Badger win over visiting Paul Smith's
on Saturday. Perdue's play has helped spark a four game winning
streak for Johnson.

Jen Ferrari, Johnson State College
(Fr, Midfield - Westfield, Mass.)
Jen Ferrari recorded five goals in a 2-1 week for Johnson State.
Ferrari notched her first collegiate goal in a 4-2 loss at home to
Norwich and then scored a pair of goals in a 4-0 win at Daniel
Webster and two more in a 5-0 win at home over Bay Path
College.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Michelle Wilcox, Lyndon State
College
(Junior, Midfield - Sheldon, Vt.)
Wilcox has exploded for six goals in the Hornet's first three
games of the 2010 season. She scored two goals in Lyndon's
season-opening 10-1 victory over Regis College on Wednesday, Sept.
1. Three days later, Wilcox found the back of the net three times
as the Hornets white-washed Morrisville State by a score of 4-0.
She ended the week by converting a penalty kick in a 2-2 tie at
SUNY Cobleskill Sunday.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Rebecca Jones, Husson University
(Fy., midfield - Newmarket, NH)
Becca Jones scored the overtime game winning goal against Norwich
to give the Eagles a 2-1 win. The goal, scored six minutes into
overtime, marked the first of Jones' career at Husson.
