Castleton State wins 2nd straight NAC Women’s Tennis Championship
Enfield, Conn. (Oct. 23, 2005) - Defending North Atlantic Conference Champion, Castleton State College captured its 2nd straight NAC Championship with a strong showing on the final day of the 2-day event. The tournament was moved indoors to the Enfield Tennis Club in Enfield, Conn. The Spartans finished with a tournament-best 11.00 points. Becker College finished 2nd (8.75) with Johnson State College 3rd (5.75) and Bay Path College in 4th place (3.75). Team points were awarded as follows, 1.50 points for first place, 1.00 points for second place, 0.75 points for third place, and 0.25 points for fourth place.
