NAC Women's Tennis Weekly Honors
Castleton's Michelle Podnecky (Bridgewater, VT) earned Most Valuable Player honors for the NAC Tournament earning a 6-0, 6-0 win in the semifinal round and a 6-1, 6-0 win in the final round playing first flight singles earning NAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week.

Castleton wins NAC Women’s Tennis Championship
Castleton, VT - The top-seeded Castleton State College women’s tennis team swept its way to the North Atlantic Conference title, defeating fourth-seed Thomas College 9-0 in the semifinal round, and second-seed Lyndon State College 9-0 in the Championship round.

2009 NAC Women's Tennis All-Conference Team
Castleton sophomore Michelle Podencky was selected as the North Atlantic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Year in a vote by the league's coaches. Podencky was 5-0 during league play leading her squad to the top seed in the NAC Championship.

NAC, NEAC enter partnership to expand associate membership
The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) and North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) have entered into a partnership to expand associate membership. The NEAC will gain associate members in the sports of baseball and women's tennis while the NAC will add members for men's tennis and women's lacrosse.
