NAC Women's Volleyball Weekly Honors
Chelsea Ward led Maine Maritime to it's 3rd consecutive NAC Title this weekend after collecting 34 kills in two matches. Ward had only 1 attack error on 55 attempts for an astounding hitting percentage of 60%. Ward, who was named the NAC Tournaments Most Outstanding Player also collected 9 aces, 14 digs, and 4 blocks in the two wins earning NAC Women's Volleyball Player of the Week.

MMA Wins Third Straight NAC Volleyball Title
Maine Maritime defeated Husson 3-0 to earn their third straight NAC Women's Volleyball Championship. The Mariners were undefeated in regular season play and will represent the NAC in the upcoming NCAA Division III Tournament.

2009 NAC Women's Volleyball All-Conference Teams Announced
Maine Maritime outside hitter Chelsea Ward was selected the North Atlantic Conference Player of the Year in a vote by the conference coaches. Ward led the conference in hitting percentage (.493) while ranking second in kills per game (4.55) leading the Mariners to an undefeated 7-0 mark in conference play and top seed in the NAC Championship.
