UMF Men, Women Win 2005 NAC Cross Country Championship
FARMINGTON, Maine - For the second-consecutive year, the UMF men?s and women?s cross country teams captured the NAC Cross Country Championship, which was held today in Farmington, Maine. UMF took first place on the men?s side with 36 points, while Johnson State was second with 45. On the women?s side, UMF captured five of the top nine spots for 21 points, followed by Johnson State with 66. Joe Fitzsimmons of UMF won the men?s individual championship, after finishing second last year, with a time of 29:30.9, while UMF?s Andrea Spearrin won the women?s title for the second year in a row, clocking 21:36.1. UMF?s Drew Croteau (30:49.0) and Kate Dickinson (22:20.1) finished second on the men?s and women?s side, respectively. View Photos from the Event.
