![]() Husson Announces Women's Cross Country Head Coach The Husson University Athletic Department has announced the hiring of Major James Karcanes as the Head Women's Cross Country Coach. Karcanes will serve as the first NCAA head coach of the newly established women's cross country team. ![]() Hornets Finish Season Strong at ECAC Championship, Grant 4th Overall The Hornet mens team closed out their season with a bang as they placed 10th overall at the ECAC Championships. In a field of 50 NCAA Division III Northeast colleges the Hornet team ran its best race of the season. Standout freshman and NAC Runner of the Year Josh Grant (Nashua, NH) finished an impressive forth overall to lead the Hornets. Grant covered the course in 26:51 for his third PR in as many weeks. ![]() Lyndon State, Farmington Repeat at NAC Cross Country Championship The Lyndon State College men and University of Maine Farmington women's cross country teams captured their respective team crowns to repeat as 2009 North Atlantic Conference Champions. The Hornets grabbed 4 of the top 7 spots to edge Maine Maritime while the Beavers placed 6 runners in the top 12 to easily capture the title Saturday on the campus of Green Mountain College in Poultney, VT. ![]() 2009 NAC Mens and Womens Cross Country All-Conference Teams Announced Following the NAC Cross Country Championships, the men's and women's all-conference teams have been selected. Runners scoring in the top seven and the medalist earned first-team honors while the next seven for each gender earned second team accolades. |
