MEN'S BASKETBALL
 

Player of the Week

DeAndre Duncombe, UMaine-Presque Isle

(Sophomore, G - Port St. Lucie, Florida, 2)

Duncombe continued his hot start to the season with a game-high 18 points, shooting 7-for-13 from the field and 3-for-3 from the charity stripe. The sophomore guard also tallied five assists, four rebounds, and a steal and kept UMPI in the game until the final minute of a 69- 60 loss at Eastern Nazarene.

 
   

Rookie of the Week 

George Nehma, SUNY Canton

(Freshman, F - Sydney, Australia, 4)

Nehma came off the bench to lead the stat line for Canton in 19 minutes on the court, tallying team-highs of 10 points, seven rebounds (six defensive), and two steals while shooting 5-for-7 from the field. The freshman forward is also credited with an assist in the Roos loss to St. Lawrence University.

 

 

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
 

Player of the Week

Sadé Rogers, SUNY Canton

(Senior, G - Bronx, NY, 3)

Rogers hit a career milestone with a game-high 19 points going 3-for-3 from behind the arc and 6-for-10 from the field. She led the fight as the Roos trimmed a 19-point halftime deficit to just four, before falling to Clarkson University. The senior guard also added two assists and two rebounds.

 
   

Rookie of the Week 

Molly Horton, Thomas (ME)

(Freshman, G - Brownington, Vt., 24)

Freshman Molly Horton started for the Terriers against a very competitive Colby College team. She led NAC freshman on the week with nine points, two assists, a defensive rebound, and a steal in 33 minutes on the hardwood.
