NAC Weekly Honors (period ending 3/10/19)





Player of the Week

John Rohan III, SUNY Delhi
(Junior, A - Wantagh, New York)

Rohan III lead the Broncos to two wins this week with nine goals and three assists for twelve points. He scored five goals and handed out an assist against Wells on Friday, and followed-up with four goals and two assists at Purchase on Sunday to wrap up the road trip. Seventy-five percent of his shots were on net, and seventy-five percent of those shots (9 of 12) found the back of the cage. 


Defensive Player of the Week

Travis Anderson, SUNY Delhi
(Freshman, G - Putnam Valley, New York)

Anderson tended the goal for 120 minutes of lacrosse over the weekend and came up with two wins. He made 27 saves against 39 shots on goal, earning a 69.2 save percentage. Against Wells on Saturday, Anderson stopped ten shots and allowed five goals. Against Purchase the next day, he stopped 17 of 24 shots on goal. In all, Anderson averaged only six goals-against per game. He currently leads the league with a 9.25 goals-against average to date.


Rookie of the Week

Noah Robinson, SUNY Canton
(Freshman - Mississauga, Ontario)

Robinson played an important role in a 16-14 road win at Houghton, posting team-highs of four goals and nine ground balls to go with one assist. The freshman earned four of his five points after halftime, including a pair of goals in the third quarter where the Roos outscored the Highlanders, 5-1. Robinson was on target, shooting on the goal with 63% of his shots.



Player of the Week

John Folsom, NVU-Johnson
(Senior - Califon, New Jersey)

Folsom was strong this past weekend against MCLA, in the first men's tennis match of 2019 for the Badgers. Folsom collected both points for NVU-Johnson, winning at first-doubles with Austin Walters, and also in his singles match. Folsom and Walters came away with an 8-5 win, and then Folsom took two straight sets (6-1, 7-5) for the win at No. 2 singles.


Rookie of the Week

Mackenna Jordon, MCLA
(Sophomore - Lebanon, Connecticut)

Playing in her first season of tennis at MCLA, Jordon matched up with the men and earned two wins. She paired up with Charles Najimy to win the No. 3 doubles match against Norwich on Saturday. The pair won a tie-break set 7-3 to take the win, 8-7. On Sunday, Jordan bested her No. 6 singles opponent 6-0, 6-0 against NVU-Johnson.



The NAC recognizes athletes of the week in all sports once fifty percent of conference teams begin competition. Honors for Women's Lacrosse and Softball are scheduled to begin next week, March 18, 2019. Honors for Baseball and Track & Field are scheduled to begin March 25, 2019. All dates are subject to change if contests are rescheduled or postponed.
