MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY

Runner of the Week

Abshir Yerow, SUNY Delhi
Senior - Syracuse, New York

Yerow broke the nine-year-old school 8K record with a time of 25:07.3 at the Division I UAlbany Invitational on Friday. He bested the previous school standard of 25:08.5 set by Chris Burnett in 2010. Yerow led the Broncos, the only Division III team in the race, to a third-place finish with 82 points.

 

 

 

 


Rookie of the Week

Aiden Berlinski, SUNY Delhi
First-year - Unionville, NY

Berlinski won the Bronco Weekday Classic 5K in a time of 16:28.7 on October 8th. SUNY Delhi won the event with a perfect score of 15. Then at the Division I UAlbany Invitational on October 18, Berlinski established a new career-best 8K time of 26:09.9 - an improvement of 41 seconds. He finished in 14th place, helping the Broncos claim third overall with 82 points.

 

 

 

 

 

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY

Runner of the Week

Zosia Prince, NVU-Lyndon
Sophomore - Sutton, Vermont


Prince finished 21st in a field of 198 runners at the Western New England Invitational on Saturday. She completed the 6K course in a personal-best time of 23:58.

 

 

 


Rookie of the Week

Sophie Stewart, SUNY Delhi
First-year - Newark Valley, New York


Stewart placed 48th at the Division I UAlbany Invitational last Friday. She completed the 5K in a time of 20:29.6. During the previous week, Stewart finished the Bronco Weekday Classic 5K in second place with a time of 21:17.51 to help SUNY Delhi win their home event.
