Lexie Walker, a volleyball student athlete at Northern Vermont-Lyndon and the president of the NAC SAAC, and Amira Jones, a former basketball student athlete at Thomas College and a participant in the NCAA DIII Student Immersion program, soaked up the sun and some insight into Division III athletics at the 2019 NCAA Convention in Orlando at the end of January.
Thomas College student athlete Cassie Contigiani was elected by her peers to serve as an Associate Member of the NCAA Division III National Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). The vote occurred at the NAC SAAC Fall Retreat in November, and her service became effective at the conclusion of the 2019 NCAA Convention in January.

Farmington, Maine – On Saturday afternoon, Dick Meader, the men's basketball coach at the University of Maine at Farmington, was presented The Sam Schoenfeld Sportsmanship Award from the Collegiate Basketball Officials Association (CBOA). The ceremony took place on MacPhee Court in Dearborn Gymnasium prior to the tip-off versus Thomas College.
