NAC Squads Prepared to Compete for 2017 Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championship Titles

The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Men's & Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be hosted by Colby-Sawyer this Sunday, April 30.

The Chargers will welcome 12 other men's and women's varsity programs from Castleton, UMaine-Farmington, Green Mountain, Husson, Johnson State, and Lyndon to compete at the Sally Shaw Veitch Track & Field facility (No. 21 on campus map) and Mercer Field (No. 22 on campus map) with a tentatively scheduled start of 10:30 a.m.

NAC squads will compete in a total of 38 events (19 men, 19 women). For the schedule of events (tentative), please click HERE.

2016 Inaugural NAC Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championship

Colby-Sawyer College won the inaugural North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championship on a cold and rainy Sunday at the Sally Shaw Veitch Track & Field. The championship featured seven varsity programs and a pair of club teams.

The Chargers, who were the preseason favorite, earned the victory by compiling 227 points. Castleton finished as runner-up with 126 points. UMaine-Farmington placed third (96), followed by Husson (78), New England College (32), Green Mountain (26) and Johnson State (3).

2016 NAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championship

Colby-Sawyer College won its first North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championship on a cold and rainy Sunday at the Sally Shaw Veitch Track & Field. The championship featured six varsity programs and a pair of club teams.

Picked as the preseason favorite, Colby-Sawyer did not disappoint and won the meet with 216 points. Husson, the 2015 champion, finished as runner-up with 186 points. UMaine-Farmington placed third (78), followed by Castleton (76), New England College (14) and Johnson State (8).
