Player of the Week

David LeBlanc, Husson
(Junior, OF - Beaumont, Alberta)

In three non-conference matchups, LeBlanc was consistent at the plate with a .429 batting average, tallying six hits with two RBI and scoring two runs of his own. The starting center fielder, LeBlanc recorded nine putouts to help secure a 15-3 win over Bates and battle within a run of Bowdoin, 8-7.

   
 

Pitcher of the Week

Alex Brooks, Husson
(Sophomore, P - Brewer, Maine)

Brooks pitched five innings and earned the win in a 15-3 victory over Bates. He gave up only three hits and three walks while fanning one batter for his third win of the season. None of the three runs were earned, giving Brooks a 0.0 ERA for the week.

   
 

Rookie of the Week

Hunter LaBossiere, UMaine-Farmington
(Freshman, OF - Oxford, Maine)

LaBossiere led the Beavers in hitting this week, batting .417 with five hits in 12 at-bats. He cracked two doubles and drove in two runs while striking out only once. LaBossiere had seven total bases with one walk and two extra-base hits.
