Thomas Field Hockey Players Weeks and Faulkingham Receive Regional Recognition


GILBERT, Ariz. – Thomas College field hockey senior Tiffany Weeks (Kennebunk, Maine) and junior Kelci Faulkingham were each named to the Longstreth/NFHCA Division III All-New England East Second Team.

The Longstreth/NFHCA All-Region and All-American Teams and Regional and National Player of the Year honors are awarded to student-athletes following the conclusion of each collegiate season. The awards are nominated and voted on by NFHCA member coaches and selection committees.

Weeks anchored the Terriers defense that allowed just 1.68 goals, 5.25 shots on goal and 6.25 penalty corners per game. She was also a key offensive contributor, scoring five goals and notching two assists on the season. Weeks was named the North Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the Year and earned All-Conference recognition.

Faulkingham recorded six goals and five assists as the Terriers number one option on penalty corner inserts this season. She was named North Atlantic Conference Player of the Year and to the All-Conference Team.
