Justin Butler, Thomas
Butler averaged 21 points, on 75% shooting from the field, with 4.5 rebounds and three assists per game, as the Terriers won their final regular season game and a quarterfinal contest. The sophomore scored a tie-for-game-high 20 points in the Terriers season finale, going 4-for-4 from the free throw line and adding three rebounds and five assists in the win over top-seeded UMaine-Farmington. In a closely contested NAC Quarterfinal with Maine Maritime Academy, Butler dropped another game-high 22 points, hauled in six rebounds, and registered two steals to advance the Terriers to the semifinal round this weekend.
Rookie of the Week
Kyle Cary, Northern Vermont-Lyndon
Cary caught fire to close out Northern Vermont-Lyndon's season with a win. The freshman could not miss, scoring a season-high 25 points on 100% shooting from the floor – hitting 11-for-11 and setting a new single-game record for the Hornets in the process. Cary also grabbed nine rebounds, and chipped in two assists and a block, in the victory over in-state rival Northern Vermont-Johnson.
