    BANGOR, Maine - Husson men's golf, winner of seven straight North Atlantic Conference Championships, received its 2013 NCAA Championship bid on Monday afternoon. As the NAC champions, the Eagles received an automatic bid to the tournament.

    Husson University junior Lance Bernier carded a 145 (75, 70) at the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship this past weekend, earning NAC Golfer of the Year honors. Bernier's even-par 70 on Sunday was the low-round of the tournament, as Husson won its seventh-straight title.

    Bryan Fitzgerald's solid 2012 campaign continued this week for Castleton at the Elms College Invitational, where the 2011 NAC Rookie of the Year posted a four-over 76 to finish tied for fourth and earn Golfer of the Week honors. Maine Maritime's Keenan Kalthoff has once again been named Rookie of the Week, after finishing fourth overall at Tuesday's Mariner Invitational.

Keenan Kalthoff turned in a top-10 finish for Maine Maritime at the Maine Intercollegiate Championships and was named Rookie of the Week

    Husson University swept this week's men's golf awards as Bill Hutchins and Greg Pike led the Eagles to a third and first place finish in a pair of tournaments this week. Hutchins was named Golfer of the Week after carding low-rounds in each of the two tournaments, while Pike earned Rookie of the Week honors for his share of medalist honors at this week's Husson Invitational.

    Husson University and Salem State University have finished in a tie atop the North Atlantic Conference Men’s Golf rankings in a recent poll of the league’s coaches. Both teams finished with four first-place votes, and a total of 60 points.

    CASTINE, Maine – Craig Dagan has been appointed the Head Men's Golf Coach at Maine Maritime Academy. Dagan has served as the Academy's Head Women's Basketball Coach for 11 seasons, and was the Head Women's Soccer Coach for five years.
