Dugas, Clow & Morang Honored by Golf Coaches Association of America

 

NORMAN, Okla. – Division III PING All-Region honorees have been announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). A total of 98 players across six regions - Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Great Lakes, Central and West - earned all-region honors for 2019. Husson senior Gavin Dugas (Pittsfield, Maine) was recognized on the Northeast Region Team for his second-straight season.

Additionally, Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars for Division III have been announced by the GCAA. To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status, an individual must be a junior or senior academically and compete in at least two full years at the collegiate level, participate in 50-percent of his team's competitive rounds or compete in the NCAA Championships, have a stroke average under 79.0 in Division III, and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.

Two seniors from Husson - Mackenzie Clow (Summerside, Prince Edward Island) and Taylor Morang (Winthrop, Maine) - were recognized as All-America Scholars for the first time in their careers.
