DiSavlo will play for the North quad under the direction of Dave Campbell, who wrapped up his sixth season at Middlebury College.

    Maine Maritime senior attack Andrew DiSalvo has been named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Year in a vote of the league’s coaches. DiSalvo put the finishing touches on a very impressive four-year career with his third-straight Player of the Year honor after being named the conference Rookie of the Year in 2009.

    Ben Landry and Zach Davidson enjoyed historic weeks for Husson and Castleton respectively, earning this week's conference honors. Landry helped the Eagles to a program-high win total, and in the process notched his 200th career goal, and 250th career point. Davidson returned from injury to propel Castleton to the NAC semifinals, scoring a program-record 11 goals and in the process setting a program record with 78 points in a season. The duo will meet Wednesday in the NAC Semifinal round.

    Brian Gillis led New England College to a pair of conference wins, scoring six goals and handing out seven assists to earn Player of the Week accolades. Matt Davis scored the game-winning goal for Thomas, lifting the Terriers to an overtime win over UMF and was 12-for-22 in the faceoff circle, earning Rookie of the Week honors.

Nash Garceau lifted Johnson State to a pair of wins, scoring six goals and handing out three helpers while garnering Rookie of the Week accolades.

    Castleton swept this week's men's lacrosse honors as Alex Green and Zach Davidson led the Spartans to a perfect 4-0 week, including a 3-0 mark against conference opponents. Green's returned to the lineup after missing six games due to injury to post 20 points, while Davidson continued the torrid start to his career with 27 points to earn Player and Rookie of the Week honors respectively.

    Thomas junior attackman Sean Machin racked up nine points on the week, including a six-goal performance to lead the Terriers to their first win of the season and earn Player of the Week honors. Castleton's Zach Davidson scored a career-high five goals in a last second loss to Plymouth State and was named the league's top rookie for the second-straight week.

Castleton freshman Zach Davidson garnered Rookie of the year accolades, posting multi-point performances in each of his first three career games.
  • Castleton Picked to Defend NAC Men's Lacrosse Title

    Castleton State College as been chosen to defend its back-to-back North Atlantic Conference titles in a preseason poll of the league's coaches. The Spartans garnered 72 total points and a pair of first place votes. New to the conference this season, New England College received the lion's share of first-place votes with six, while Maine Maritime earned one.
  • Sherman Tapped to Lead Maine Maritime Lacrosse

    CASTINE, Maine – Maine Maritime Academy Director of Athletics, Eric Sabean, announced the appointment of Adam Sherman as the Mariners' Head Lacrosse Coach. Sherman, who has served on the Academy's football staff since last July, will assume his new duties immediately. He will also retain a role with the football program.
