Player of the Week

Zach Glazier, Husson
(Senior, A/M - Winthrop, Maine)

Scoring the team-high in goals in all three contests this past week, Glazier put up a pair of goals in a loss against Colby, then followed up with four goals and two assists to help Husson defeat the University of Southern Maine for the first time in program history. The senior scored with 1:57 remaining in the first sudden-death overtime period to thwart a USM comeback and take a 14-13 overtime triumph in the Eagles' home opener. To finish out a 2-1-week, Glazier helped the Eagles grab their first NAC victory with a 23-1 win over NVU-Johnson by recording seven goals and one assist. In total, Glazier recorded 13 goals with an 85.0% shot on goal percentage. He also recorded three assists, 14 ground balls, and five caused turnovers.

   

Defensive Player of the Week

Travis Anderson, SUNY Delhi
(Freshman, G - Putnam Valley, New York)

Anderson continues his impressive first year in the cage with another 2-0 week for the Broncos. He stopped 16 shots in a 13-8 win over Cazenovia, and halted ten more against Maine Maritime for the first NAC win for SUNY Delhi men's lacrosse. In total, Anderson is credited with 26 saves (66.7% save percentage) and a 6.5 goals-against average across the week.

   

Rookie of the Week

Noah Robinson, SUNY Canton
(Freshman, M - Mississauga, Ontario)

Robinson had a huge week posting nine goals, two assists, 12 ground balls, and two caused turnovers in a pair of contests for the Roos. He led the team with four goals, and added three ground balls, in a loss to Castleton on Thursday. The freshman followed that up with a game-best five goals to go with two assists, nine ground balls, and two caused turnovers as the Roos earned a convincing 25-3 win versus Thomas in their NAC opener. Robinson leads the Roos in goals (14) and points (19) through five games.
