NAC Men's Soccer Weekly Honors (week Ending 10/7/18)

Player of the Week

Daniel Arriola, Northern Vermont-Johnson

(Jr, M - Romeoville, Ill.)

Daniel Arriola recorded 3 goals in the Badgers 6-2 win over NVU-Lyndon. Arriola shot .750, only missing one of four attempts in an important NAC game that started with even conference records. Arriola's hat trick brings his season total to 8 goals.

Defensive Player of the Week

Jonathan Dutka, Thomas (ME)

(Sr., GK - Durham, N.H.)

Dutka made 11 saves, surrendering just two goals to a strong Bowdoin offense in a 2-1 non-conference loss on Monday. He followed that performance with a combined shutout in a 3-0 conference win over UMPI on Saturday, where he did not allow a goal in 45 minutes of action and picked up the NAC win.

Rookie of the Week

Jahzardae Samuels, Thomas (ME)

(Fr., M - Pembroke, Bermuda)

Samuels took two shots on goal, and put one in the back of the net for the Terriers third goal in a 3-0 win over NAC oponent UMaine-Presque Isle on Saturday. The midfielder was also key to pressuring a strong Bowdoin team in a tough non-conference matchup.
