Colby-Sawyer's Foster to Compete in 100m at NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field Championship
The NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee announced the participants in the 2017 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships and Colby-Sawyer senior Rasheed Foster (Sandy Bay, Hanover, Jamaica) will be the North Atlantic Conference's (NAC) lone competitor.
He qualified for the national championship in the 100 meter dash and is seeded at No. 10 in the prelims with a time of 10.60. This will be his second-consecutive trip to the national championship after competing in the 100 and 200 meter dashes a season ago. For the complete list of qualifiers, click HERE.
The 2017 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships will be held this week, hosted by the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio, on May 25-27. For information about the host site, click HERE. For scoring, please click HERE. The 100 meter dash prelims are scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon. If Foster qualifies, the 100 finals will be on Saturday at 1:40 p.m.
